The 7th volume of “Daikaiju Geatima” (by Kent), which is being serialized in Kodansha’s “Monthly Young Magazine”, will be released on Thursday, November 20th. And today, November 17th (Monday), it was announced that an animation project is underway.

This work is a sci-fi drama that depicts the connection between monsters and people with overwhelming scale and thorough details. It is also distributed at the same time as “MANGA”. The overseas translation version is also a world-famous work that has been published in many cases, including the North American version of “GAEA-TIMA THE GIGANTIS”.

[Synopsis]
The harbor town, Konami-cho, was damaged by the big waves that suddenly appeared with a monster that appeared from the sea. The monsters that have stopped activity have dissolved in the sea and become rich in the nutrients of seafood, enriching the economy of Konami town and being called the god of fertility. The victim, a girl, Morinomiyayako, made a doll of Geatima in order to imitate the event, and was sold as a souvenir and gained popularity. However, a monster appears for the first time in 10 years in the town of Kyonami, which has recovered. Is a monster an enemy or an ally of humanity?
