Original animation project 2025 from Kyocera started with the theme of “#Person for someone’s sake”

Six popular creators on SNS and Kyocera collaborate to create a vertical animation that expresses “Kyocera’s technology is active in the future” from 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2025.

It is also clear that university students and graduate students have a high sense of contribution, which is “for someone,” and they tend to have a high interest in work that can contribute to society.
Released along with Kyocera’s original animation 1st to 3rd omnibus 1st to 3rd animations, the lines of conflicts when the main characters face the future, and the line advertisements are posted on each line of the Tokyo Metro as a shout out to young people.

Kyocera Co., Ltd. finds new sides and encounters of oneself and takes a positive step by working with people of the Z generation who feel uneasy about the future and acts “for someone.” We have produced the original animations for the first (2022), the second (2023), and the third (2024) with the desire to be released. From the third installment, in addition to the original animation, we have implemented measures to push the back while being close to the people of the Z generation, not just original animation production, such as researching and announcing the gap between generations jointly with the Dentsu Youth Research Department.

This year, which is the 4th year, we will implement measures to support young people from Kyocera under the theme of “Kyocera’s original animation Project 2025” with the theme of “Wishing to be good for someone.”

In addition, in the past four years when we have produced original animations from Kyocera, there have been epidemics of the new corona virus infections, etc., and the world’s values are shaken. We conducted a survey of 1,000 men and women (as of January 6, 2025) and other generations about working awareness and values.

As a result, it became clear that university students and graduate students had a higher sense of contribution, which is “for the sake of someone” compared to other generations, and that they tend to have a high interest in jobs that are “for the sake of someone” and work that can contribute to society.

Through various opportunities, Kyocera will continue to implement measures to support young people, including generation Z, and strive to gain an understanding of Kyocera’s management philosophy “Kyocera Philosophy” and a wide range of business content.

A vertical animation of 6 creators expressing the “future daily life” where Kyocera’s technology plays an active role.

Kyocera’s AI ranging camera measures the distance and size of a small object with high precision (distance 0.1 mm at a distance of 10 cm), Achieves accurate distance measurements of objects with a small size of about 1 mm, or transparent and reflective objects, which were difficult with conventional cameras. It is expected to be used at manufacturing sites and on-site requiring advanced object identification.
