The 1st anniversary of the opening of the new base to disseminate Japanese animation! “Anime Tokyo Station” 1st Anniversary Events Governor Koike, voice actor Mina Tominaga, Ryusei Nakao and others are celebrating!

“Anime Tokyo Station”, an anime exhibition base that utilizes Japanese animation content, which has strong fans around the world, operated by the Japan Video Association, will celebrate its first anniversary since its opening in October last year.
In commemoration of the 1st anniversary, on October 31st (Thursday), we held an event to commemorate the 1st anniversary of the opening of the museum, which is a fusion of ceremony and entertainment.

At the 1st anniversary event, Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike gave a 1st anniversary greeting from Toshima Ward, Toshima Ward, Korimi Miyuki. Mina Tominaga and Ryuusei Nakao, who are popular voice actors, will be the moderators. In addition, Anpanman, Baikinman, and Dokin-chan participated in the greeting characters from “Soreike!
In the second half of the event, Mina Tominaga and Ryuusei Nakao appeared and performed a recitation of the popular picture book “Arashi no Yoru ni ❶”. BGM with percussion performance is also added to create a realistic view of the world. In addition, Yuuichi Kimura, the original author of “Arashi no Yoru ni”, appears as a surprise guest. Various charms created by “animation” such as the impressions of reading the play and a talk session with anime episodes that I liked when I was a child It was a 1st anniversary event unique to “Anime Tokyo Station” that you can enjoy as entertainment that is fun to watch and listen to.
About 50,000 items of “Anime Tokyo Station” are preserved, including valuable materials from the past during the animation production process. As a facility that travelers from all over the world can enjoy as a starting point for past masterpieces and the latest popular works of anime, we are disseminating the charm of anime and the charm of Tokyo to a wide range of anime fans both in Japan and overseas.
