Tokyo and Anime Tokyo Station, an anime exhibition base operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Japan Video Association, “Make Anime More Interesting, Make Anime To The Future” With this motto, 296,471 people (as of June 7, 2026) are visiting as a facility that conveys the charm of Japanese animation to the world.

This summer, Anime Tokyo Station will hold various special events during the summer vacation entitled “Animation Tokyo Station Summer Festival 2026”.

As the first event of the event, we will be holding the “TOKIO Doki Doki Anime Workshop”. This event is an animation production workshop for elementary and junior high school students for two days on Friday, August 21 and Saturday, August 22. After learning how to capture time-lapse, how to express the animation, and the production process, the participants will work together to produce animations using a tablet (device).
In actual animation production, we work together to complete one work while communicating with various staff and staff. By experiencing this kind of production process as a workshop, it will be an opportunity to learn the importance of flexible communication with others and to be active independently, and encourages awareness and growth of children. In addition, since the produced animation will be presented as a later data, it is recommended that you participate as a free research during the summer vacation.

Other workshops and event information scheduled to be held at “Anime Tokyo Station Summer Festival 2026” will be released on the official website and each official SNS.
While enjoying “learning, experience, and challenge” at a special event unique to the anime Tokyo Station, you will surely meet a new you through familiar “anime”.
