The Sunrise brand animation “New Century GPX Cyber Formula” series (hereinafter referred to as “Cyber Formula” series) is celebrating its 35th anniversary since the TV series (1991). We are planning various projects such as the production of new short animations and the release of anniversary goods so that more people can enjoy the “Cyber Formula” series, which has been supported by many fans!

The anime “New Century GPX Cyber Formula” series released the final volume of the 4th OVA series “New Century GPX Cyber Formula SIN” in March 2000. More than 25 years later, a new short animation, which will be the orthodox sequel of the series, will be released!

“Condensed a new year at Cyber Formula into 6 minutes”

This video is a short animation delivered in a very short length of about 6 minutes.
However, it condenses “a new year of cyber formula”.
With the density and speed that can only be drawn with a limited amount of time, we have captured the present of this world.

As a story, it is the orthodox sequel to “SIN”.
What is beyond that battle – depicts the beginning and change of the new seasons that the characters welcome.

In the production, we have the staff who have worked on this series and new generations of creators who have been influenced by the work so far have participated.
It has become a scene where the thoughts that have been passed down from time to time and new sensibilities intersect.

In addition, in this work, various settings are reviewed and newly built.
Race regulations, designs, etc.
We challenged a new cyber formula image by reconstructing it as a modern expression while taking into account the accumulation of the past.

And in terms of video, I don’t use any CG, from the characters to the cybermachines, and I’ve produced them with full drawing.
We hope that you can feel the speed and weight that comes from hand-drawing, and the response of the “running”.

Although it is a short piece of work, the amount of heat that can be put into each moment is the same as before.

New cyber machine design released by Masaharu Kawamori (machine design)

The machine design of the completely new cyber machine “Zenis Asurada AKF-S0/G” by Masaharu Kawamori, who is in charge of machine design for this series, has been unveiled for the first time!
We are planning to appear in the new short animation.

In addition, Megahouse Co., Ltd. has decided to commercialize the popular finished product model series “Variable Action Hi-Spec” & “C.F.C -HERITAGE EDITION”!
“Zenis Aslada” is attractive for its cutting-edge styling with the design of the Asurada series.
It is under development under the supervision of designer Masaharu Kawamori himself.

35th Anniversary New Product Information Released

From the “Cyber Formula Collection – Heritage Edition- Series”, the TV series cyber machine “Missionnel VR-4” and “Counter Arrow T.O.S” are finally here!
Both machines are the first commercialization of Megahouse, and are planned to be three-dimensionalized with a completely new modeling.

“Astrada G.X Black Ver.” is now available from the “Variable Action Hi-Spec United” series in collaboration with THREEZERO.
