This is the first time in Japan to make full-scale AI-powered animation (*January 2025 survey)

This time, in addition to the announcement of the broadcast and the release date and time, we will also announce the main staff, cast, theme song, and new PV.

This work is working as part of a project to explore how AI and creative can coexist, attracting attention not only from anime fans but also by a wide range of users.

Terrestrial broadcasting will be broadcast on MBS from 3:38 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2025.

In addition, the distribution will be available from 12:00 on March 30, 2025 (Sunday) on various distribution sites such as d anime store, abema, tver, mbs video ism, dmmtv, and primevideo.
As the main staff of this work, Mr. Beni Nakano, who will be the director for the first time this time, will be the first director, and the scenario will be Mr. Yu Shinada, who is active in manga, novels, etc., and the character design will be “Love Live!” Takumi Yokota, who is known for Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Club, is participating.

In addition, in order to utilize AI, ULTRA-NOOB, who has attended seminars at Digital Hollywood Tokyo main school, is added to the technical director, and is currently the current X. The number of followers exceeds 360,000, and Mr. 852 of Episode 852, who has been active as a top runner since the beginning of the development of AI technology, is also an AI pipeline developer. In addition, animators, art and filming staff, front-line staff who usually participate in TV series and Netflix works gather, and are a great driving force in searching for new expressions using AI.

The main cast will be played by Sayo Hiratsuka, who played the main character in the anime “Himitsu no Ippu”, and Yurie Ikoma, who played Ruby Hoshino in the anime “[Oshi no Ko]”, will play the role of Hina.

As for the theme song information, the OP theme “Ogyumen and Dei!” is a twin vocal song by the two heroines, Himari (CV. Sayo Hiratsuka) and Hina (CV. Yurie Ikoma).
And the ED theme “6:00 PM” is “Chico with HoneyWorks” is the vocalist of “CHICO”, an artist who started his solo project in 2013, and wrote and composed the lyrics and composition of the four-member piano rock band “SHE’S”. It is a song written by Ryoma.

In this work, AI was used to realize that it was difficult to express from the point of view of the conventional production steps such as the scene where the hair flutters. We aim to create new value of animation and animation unique to AI.

In terms of production, we place importance on the concept of “supportive AI” that support creators, and based on the “AI Business Guidelines” of Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and advice from a lawyer, we are proceeding with production in a way that allows the current Japanese copyright to be managed.

* “Supportive AI” in this work is a way of thinking that aims to improve the efficiency of animation production and establish new expressions by using AI as an auxiliary tool for creators. While using AI for drawing and background production, the final finishing is done by the staff of the animation site, pursuing quality.

In addition, this work will be premiered at the “Niigata International Animation Film Festival”, which is the largest festival in Asia, which has the competition section of feature films.
