The Joetsu City Cultural Dissemination Executive Committee (Inside the Baht Production Co., Ltd., Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture) will celebrate its 100th time in the spring of 2025. The 100th Takada project, which collects 4 million yen in production funds to create animation videos that convey the history and charm of Takada Castle Ruins Park “Sakurakai” and the thoughts for the future, and distribute it to elementary and junior high school students in the city. From January 23 (Thursday) to February 28 (Fri.), 2025, the beautiful cherry blossoms of the castle park “Cherry Blossom View” are held on the crowdfunding site “CAMPFIRE”. In addition, the free paper “COCOLA” is also looking for sponsorship money.

Through this animation, we will spread the awareness of “Let’s leave the beautiful cherry blossoms of Takada Castle Ruins Park in the future” centering on the younger generation of Joetsu City.

It is said that the cherry blossoms at Takada Castle Ruins Park were planted by the 13th Division of the former Japanese Army. But there was another story in that truth. One day, Nao plants a cherry tree with the 13th division soldiers with a mysterious power. With the power of Nao, the cherry blossoms bloom in no time and fascinate people. However, Nao refuses to see the cherry blossoms, and the cherry blossom petals are scattered.

Takami, a spirit who protects Joetsu, appears there. Takami speaks for Sakura’s feelings and confronts Nao. At the end of a fierce battle… What will happen to the cherry blossoms at Takada Castle Ruins Park after that?
