DLE launches “Alternative Animation” business that realizes low-cost, fast delivery of middle-quality animations
As the first installment, “Hiroshi Nohara: The Style of Lunch Meshi” is in charge of animation production.

Project overview

The “Alternative Anime” business is a 30-minute animation series (1 course, 12 episodes) for TV broadcasting and distribution, and the main area of DLE’s Adobe It is to produce middle-quality animations that have evolved using the production know-how by Animate in a lower cost and shorter period than regular 2D animation companies.

Animation industry challenges and alternative animations

Due to the global boom in animation business in recent years, the production situation of Japanese animation studios has become tight, and in recent years it is said that the work will be completed 4 to 5 years away. In such an environment, DLE considers our business to be a solution to problems such as IP holders, content providers, and production committees.

In the world of animation business, which is the norm from planning to launch a few years away, DLE has decided to start this business with the aim of increasing the probability of business success by producing and publishing IP (intellectual property) such as the original in season.

Development work
