“Project Ains”
This is a project in which Sotsu and Novo launch a new original animation series based on the world view of the up-and-coming illustrators.
By making the illustrator’s imagination, vision, and worldview “moving” = animation, we present new possibilities of both illustrations and animations, and create alternative visual expressions.
For more than 20 years, as a comprehensive magazine of story and character expressions, quarterly ES and Small S, who has been popular among creators, have also cooperated to discover new talented creators. We will send out fresh works of art to the world.
In addition to the fusion of “Animation” and “Illustration”, “Ains” means “Alternative Imagination” or the plural form of “Ein” which means 1 in German, i.e. 0 to 1. It also has the meaning of being a project that produces many of them.
One picture starts moving. The movement changes to further movement = excitement.

One day, a young man, Tsubomi, who got lost in the forest.
Kinone House, which is covered with a large tree.
The cactus, the cactus, and the mischievous bulb, Negimaru, lived there.
There are various things, and the buds are pretending to be plants and are living.
When I wake up in the morning, I do gymnastics, take a walk by the water during the day, and in the evening I surround the bonfire and look at the stars.
Have lunch on the lawn when it’s sunny. If it’s raining, read in bed. The wind blows, bathe in the light, and my throat is dry and I drink water.

I was very nervous even before the recording, but I tried to act carefully so that I could convey the charm of Uno and the charm of the work.
Q2. What is your first impression of the character?
It looks cute! That was the first thing I thought. I wondered how he would interact with the new friends he met after experiencing various things such as heavy pasts and acting alone for a long time.
Q3. How did you like to play it?
He’s quite tsundere and has a lot of thorny elements, but he has a gentle root that he shows when he’s in contact with a close friend, or a cute part that is a little spoiled, but he has a solid core.
I acted while thinking that it would be nice if I could express such a part.

During the recording, we asked the director about this project. It was very challenging and the content was filled with excitement. I would like to do my best to help you with that.
Q2. What is your first impression of the character?
Although he gives the impression that he is soft-spoken, he still seems to have a deep side to be hidden, which makes me excited. Partly because it’s the Kansai dialect, it’s quite unique and fun to act.
Q3. How did you like to play it?
It was recorded with Omomo-san, who plays the role of Uno, but I think we were able to carefully create a relationship between each character and the two of us. I’m sure there will be more interactions with other characters in the future, but I’m really looking forward to seeing what kind of atmosphere it will be with them.
