Tokyo and Anime Tokyo Station, an anime exhibition base operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Japan Video Association We have 218,445 people (as of September 28, 2025) from home and abroad as a facility that conveys the charm of Japanese animation to the world as a motto. Various events are scheduled to be held at the Anime Tokyo Station in the fall as well.

From October 1st (Wednesday), we will be holding the “Honda Yu Original Art Exhibition” on the first basement floor. Mr. Yu Honda continues to be active in various works such as “How do you live?” and “Evangelion New Theatrical Version: Q”. The original drawings of the works recorded in the book “Yu Honda Animation Original Art Collection Vol.

In addition, the collaboration between “Anime Tokyo Station”, which will celebrate its 2nd anniversary on Friday, October 31st, and “Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival 2025”, which celebrates its 12th anniversary this year, has been realized. Handmade magic stick workshop for elementary school students and children “Let’s make handmade accessories in Tokyo and go to Ike Haro!! 2025” will be held on Saturday, October 18th. On the day of the event, Mr. Wasabi, who is active in a wide range of genres, will be invited to produce magic sticks, and explain the exhibition of the animation production process on the first basement floor and tour of the facility (required).

For those who participate in the workshop, if you bring your own magic stick, you can also participate in “Ike Hello Cosplay Parade 2025” and “Halloween 2025 with Parents and Children”!

Furthermore, on October 19th (Sunday), we will hold a “Drawing” Lecture, which is an active animator’s direct instruction, “The power to be particular about the line gives life to the painting.” This is a course where you can learn the “drawing method” of animators by inviting the animator Yuto Naka as a lecturer, explaining how to draw lines and thinking, and through practice.
