“The Summer When the Light Dead” is a youthful horror work depicting a mysterious existence that imitates a childhood friend of the high school boy, Yoshiki, experiences various mysterious incidents that occur around him in his life with Hikaru.
Since the broadcast of the first episode on July 5th, the fear and story produced by the video and sound have received a great response every episode. 1st place in “Today’s Series TOP 10” (Japan) (*1), and 1st place in the weekly “ABEMA” anime weekly ranking (*2). In Abema, it ranked first on the following week, July 21st. We have won first place for 3 consecutive weeks.

Also, regarding the production decision for the second season, comments have arrived from the original, Ren Mokumoku, Yoshinori Tsujinaka, Chiaki Kobayashi, Hikaru, Shuichiro Umeda, and character designer Yuichi Takahashi.
