Tokyo and Anime Tokyo Station, an anime exhibition base operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Japan Video Association We have 214,731 people (as of September 15, 2025) from home and abroad as a facility that conveys the charm of Japanese animation to the world as a motto.

This time, we will be holding a special program of “Issho Anime Appreciation Party” held at Tokyo Station on the 3rd Friday of every month on Wednesday, October 1 and Saturday, October 18, 2025. In the special program, “Kakuriyo no Yakumeshi” and “SAMURAI” will be held on Tokyo Citizen’s Day (October 1). 7″ will be screened on the 18th, “White Snakeden”, which is Japan’s first animated film for full-color feature films in Japan to commemorate the day of the anime (October 22nd). Talks and quiz competitions will be held on both days.

<Story overview>
“Kakuriyo” where ayakashi lives. <Description of work>
“White Snakeden” is Japan’s first all-color feature-length animated film released in 1958. It is an important work in the history of Japanese animation, which was highly acclaimed both in Japan and overseas and had a great influence on subsequent commercial animation. In 2017, the 100th anniversary of the birth of Japanese animation, October 22nd, the release date of “White Snakeden”, was officially registered as [Anime Day].

<Story overview>
“White Snakeden”, which has been handed down from ancient times in China, tells the beautiful story of love between the white girl (painyan) and her lover, Shusen. Based on this folk tale, the spirit of blue fish, Shaochin, Xusen’s good friend panda and the cat bear Mimi, white A gorgeous piece written with beautiful music and rich colors, featuring the appearance of the high priest Hokai, who is trying to break the relationship between his daughter and Kosen.
