The popular picture book “Ban Dorobo” by Keiko Shibata, which has sold over 5 million copies in total, will be animated!
The anime will be broadcast on NHK E-TV from October 2026.
In commemoration of this, the teaser PV & teaser visual has been released!

In addition, the anime “Ban Dorobo” will be exhibited at the 2026 Sapporo Snow Festival, which will be held in Sapporo, Hokkaido from February 4th (Wednesday) to 11th (Wednesday). A snow sculpture of “Bread Doro” will also appear!
