Anime studio QZIL.LA Co., Ltd. Born in 1952, from Tokyo. Completed the master’s course at Tokyo University of the Arts.
Debuted solo in 1978 with “Thousand Knife”. Participated in the formation of YMO in the same year. After scattering in 1983, he announced “Music Encyclopedia”, “Beauty”, “Async”, “12”, etc., and continued to pursue innovative sounds, earning a worldwide reputation. In film music, “Merry Christmas on the Battlefield” (83/Director: Nagisa Oshima) won the British Academy Award for Best Composition, “Last Emperor”. (87/Director: Bernardo Bertolucci) has won many Academy Awards, Golden Globes, and Grammy Awards. Stage works such as “Life”, “Time”, 2018 Piknic/Seoul, 2021 M WOODS/Beijing, 2023-2024 M WOODS/ Chengdu, 2024-2025 He also actively crossed the border to the art world, including a large-scale installation exhibition in Tokyo Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo/Tokyo. Established the forest conservation group “MORE TREES” with many references to the environment and peace issues. Born in Aichi prefecture in 1983. Graduated from Nagoya Gakugei University, Department of Video Media and Media.
Since he was in his teens, he released animation on the web, which caught the attention of people in the industry and participated in TV animation as the original drawings while he was in college. After graduating, he worked as a freelance animator, as an original drawing director, animator, and a character designer. Known in the animation industry as a pioneer in digital drawing.
Recent masterpieces include “Burado Love” (2021), “King of Fire Hunts” and “Magical Girls Magical Destroyers” (both 2023), storyboards, directings, and animation directors.
