Tokyo and Anime Tokyo Station, an anime exhibition base operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Japan Video Association We have 302,957 people (as of June 28, 2026) from home and abroad as a facility that conveys the charm of Japanese animation to the world as a motto.

This summer, Anime Tokyo Station will hold various special events during the summer vacation entitled “Animation Tokyo Station Summer Festival 2026”.

As the second part of the event, we will hold “animated appreciation party together” and fun kids courses and workshops.

At the “Issho ni Anime Appreciation Party”, the anime series was born in the early days of TV animation, titled “Aiken Classical Selection”. From among the works produced by Aiken Co., Ltd., the production company, we will deliver the masterpiece hero animation broadcast in 1963 for two consecutive months. “Tetsujin No. 28” will be screened on July 19th (Sun) and August 16th (Sunday) “Eightman” will be screened. After the screening, we will also hold a talk corner and a quiz corner with a gift.

The kids course will be held with four courses under the title of “Summer vacation exciting course!” July 26th (Sun) “Enjoy is fun!”, August 11th (Tuesday) “Until the cell animation is made”, August 12 (Wed) “Anime drawing experience (beginner)” and “animation drawing experience (intermediate version)” on Thursday, August 13th.

In addition, there will be a workshop. On August 8th (Sat), “Let’s make an origami animation!”

In addition, during the summer vacation period from July 18th (Sat) to August 30th (Sun), we will distribute fans with original characters drawn.

From 1966 to 1972, he was enrolled in Mushi Production. The debut work is “W3 (Wonder Three)”.
After working as a free animator, he participated in the creation of Tezuka Production (animation club) by Osamu Tezuka in 1978. In charge of original drawings and drawings for the theatrical animation “Phoenix 2772” and TV animation “Jungle Emperor” and “B.J. (Black Jack)”.
